Geacom GmbH is an innovative translation agency based in Munich that has been active on the market for more than a decade. The company stands for the highest quality in the translation industry, supported by use of cutting-edge technologies. This progressive approach allows Geacom to deliver translations not only quickly, but also with high quality.
Geacom already had a website, but it was visually and technically outdated. Despite its once innovative and striking design, it no longer met the requirements of a modern translation office. Both the design and color scheme did not reflect Geacom's progressive and contemporary positioning. In addition, the website suffered from suboptimal search engine ranking, which affected visibility and accessibility for potential customers. To strengthen Geacom's online presence, a comprehensive redesign of the company website was necessary.
Our approach began with a detailed market analysis, where we examined the websites of leading translation offices in terms of structure, content orientation, and use of specific keywords. Based on the insights gained, we developed a completely new homepage for Geacom. This is characterized by an improved Google ranking, which directly led to an increase in website traffic and customer inquiries. Through this strategic realignment, Geacom was able to significantly strengthen its position in the digital space and successfully present itself as a modern translation office.
In our creative process of logo development for the customer, we designed a unique typographic logo, composed entirely of individually styled letters, all of the same size. The design of these letters borrows from a computer typeface, immediately establishing a connection to the world of artificial intelligence — a technology area that also plays a role in Geacom's services. The "G" of the logo was specifically designed to function as a favicon for the website and as an identifier on social media, thus giving the brand a distinctive and recognizable symbol.
To visually highlight the various business sectors and service areas of Geacom, we created a special series of icons. These two-dimensional symbols have a strong expressiveness and are designed to be understandable at a glance, which emphasizes the customer-friendliness and accessibility of the company. With their clear and simple design, these icons facilitate user navigation on the website and emphasize Geacom's commitment to intuitive and user-centered communication.
Our approach to web design aimed to create an extremely clear design that ensures that the published content always takes center stage, without being pushed into the background by unnecessary elements. By implementing a 12-column Bootstrap grid system, we ensure a responsive design that allows optimal display on various devices — be it a notebook, tablet or smartphone — and looks appealing on any screen format.
