Understanding the Task at Hand and Setting up a Strategy

How does the creation of a website work with us? According to plan and step by step! Before starting to develop a web presence for a company, it's necessary to determine 1. the target audience, 2. what the web presence should achieve, and 3. what functionality the presence must have. Then you have to look at what the websites of your most important competitors look like — after all, your web presence should stand out from them. We meticulously handle all these preliminary tasks and then develop a strategy for further action. This way, we save both ourselves and you from unnecessary detours.

Crafting a Design

Next, we think about the appearance of the web presence: The website must be clear and match the company's visual appearance, and the design should be somewhat timeless in all its modernity (so it doesn't look stale in two years). Based on the design, we construct a prototype — this allows you to visualize the final look of your web presence and the planned functionalities.

Writing the Program Code

Next comes the most demanding phase — the technical development stage. During this phase, we write the program code and conduct functionality tests. Of course, we strive to work quickly, but coding is inherently time-consuming. Rushing through the coding process would only prolong the error correction phase later on.

In the subsequent phase, we integrate third-party applications and services that are necessary or beneficial for the operation of your web presence. Publishing the Website (optional: Support)

After the final tests, we upload the website to the server and integrate the domain into our hosting. With that, the project is completed for us — at least as far as web development is concerned. We then offer technical support as needed. As an option, you can also book permanent website support as a service package.

How much does web development cost?

The cost of developing a web presence depends on numerous factors, for example, the type of presence (landing page, homepage or web shop?), the intended page size, and of course the type and number of desired features. Designing a simple landing page is, of course, much less complex than developing a complete platform with registration/login function, user accounts, messenger service, and etc. So don't be blinded by seemingly cheap flat-rate offers; these always include a heap of "fine print". If you want a cost overview, tell us your wishes — we will then create a non-binding cost estimate for you.

How long does Nolorem take to develop a website?

The time it takes to develop a web presence is determined by the nature of the project and is therefore not universally predictable. Rule of thumb: It always takes longer than you think! The minimum duration is a few weeks (for simply structured websites), but extensive projects can also take more than a year. Additionally, the provision of content is a crucial factor: For instance, if the image photos to be displayed on a website have not yet been shot, this must naturally be taken into account. We strive to provide you with a realistic timeline in advance.

Do I get a guarantee for error-free work?

Yes, you get a guarantee — it's valid for 180 days (from publication). During this time, we will fix errors or solve problems related to the website we developed (provided the errors are not due to changes that were not made by us and were not authorized by us). Errors that occur after the warranty period are fixed at a cost. Does Nolorem also take on partial orders?

Yes, we are open to partial projects or collaborative ventures. So, if you want a web designer to create the design for your web presence, we won't create our own design but will work with the design you provide.
